Has Your Business Gone Flat?            
Kick It Up Notch With Dimensional Signage

Is the word flat good?  Have you ever thought about that word?  Flat tire, sales being flat, flat as a pancake, Nebraska.  Then of course there is the ever dreaded...flat-line.  Would Pamela Anderson have gained popularity if she was…where was I?  Oh yeah, the disadvantages of flat.  Are you wondering where I am going with this?  When you stroll down the street of your favorite downtown shopping area or cruise down the street of a busy commercial district, what catches your eye?  Is it the things that blend into the background and are lost in the things that are similar around it, you know, the things that are flat?  Or do you notice the things that stand out, things that are dimensional?  Better still, three dimensional.  Why?  Because flat is boring!!!  Now I don’t know about you but I don’t like boring.  Nor do I like people to perceive me as boring.  People don’t do business with people that are boring.  How does this relate to business and especially the sign business?  Don’t let your sign be boring!  Add dimension!  Whether it is dimensional letters or a hand carved sign or even adding shape and color to add depth...do something to be interesting.  In other words something that isn’t flat.  Now if you will excuse me, I need to go look for my Bay Watch DVD for further research.
